Our Future Beeston works for a greener, cleaner, fairer Beeston, supporting ideas and intiatives from local residents. It is is run by a steering group of local residents in partnership with Health for All. Many of us are concerned about climate change and we know the city of Leeds is working toward its commitment to be a zero carbon city by 2030...
but often there are issues that feel more important...rising food and fuel prices, dirty and polluted streets, cold and draughty homes, lack of green space, jobs...

Our Future Beeston will be running drop ins, workshops and events across the area....and supporting resident led ideas and projects. Check out this page for practical information, news of meetings, events, workshops, drop ins and jobs...

Bring it to the Repair Café Saturday 4th April 1-4pm and let’s see if we can sort it 🔧
Worst case: you get tea and biscuits
Best case: it works again!

Win-win, really.

A big THANK YOU to all those who came to our jam and crumble making evening and for being patient with us! Who knew jam was so hard to get right 😂.

We managed to make some lovely apple crumble, and some apple and blackberry jam which tasted so much better knowing the fruit was picked in our own community!
