Have a Heart for Lee

Have a Heart for Lee Have a Heart for Lee is a fundraising event in Ledbury, organised by a 9 year old autistic girl, inspired by her 51 year old friend who had two heart attacks. x

She aims to raise as much money as she can for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity. The "Have a Heart for Lee" fundraiser began as a tiny seed of thought from Willow Williams, a 9 year old autistic Ledbury girl. She wanted to raise money to help Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity, because their cardiac unit saved her friends' life. Willow's friend is Lee Smith, aged 51, and also from Ledbur

y. Lee has had 2 heart attacks in 9 months and only has 30% of his heart still functioning as it should. Were it not for the Worcester cardiac unit, and the amazing care of the medical team there, Lee would not still be with us. To his family and friends, like Willow, we think the charity deserve every penny of our support to enable them to continue saving lives. If you can spare the time, try to come along to The Talbot, Ledbury, on Sunday 21st July from midday until late. We have live music, hog roast, pizza, fresh cakes, ice cream, Weston's famous shire horses, games, competitions, stalls, quality prizes, face-painting, hair braiding, raffle and live auction. There is fun for all ages and everyone is welcome. Willow, Lee and their army of devoted followers, very much look forward to seeing you there!
