looking for fun, free things to do with your 3 - 7 year olds over the summer?

You are warmly invited to bring them along to Ledbury Library to enjoy some stories with me, Julia Warren, from 10:00 - 10:30 am on the following Thursdays: 20th and 27th August.

THE PLAN:
1. I will fill a bag with wonderful picturebooks.
2. The lovely librarians and I will prepare Ledbury Library's children's room with a big, colourful mat for sitting on (and chairs for those who need them).
3. At 10 o'clock, there'll be a quick hello and intro from me.
4. I'll read a picturebook out loud for everyone and invite the children to join in.
5. We'll get up for an action song (apologies in advance for my singing...).
6. Repeat 4. and 5. until half-past ten.

The storytime is ✨FREE✨, thanks to Ledbury Library Development Group kindly sponsoring the event.

Everyone is welcome (as long as you bring a 3 - 7 year old with you!).

You don't need to book a ticket - but using this Eventbrite link will help to give the library an idea of numbers:

Can you help? Are you shopping this week?

We are grateful for all donations, but at this current time we are very short of larger size nappies in sizes 4, 5 and 6 to provide to families with young children who we support.

We appreciate that the cost of living pressures are still difficult for everyone, but, if you are able to donate any items, they will be greatly appreciated. Your donations make a huge difference to the local community. Thank you for your support 🙏🏻

Thinking about volunteering? Do you have a bit of spare time and skills that could help the local community? Why not come along and see us Ledbury Food Bank at Ledbury Community Day tomorrow, Saturday 6th June. We will be located in St Katherine’s Hall, between 9am and 1pm, where some of our current volunteers can tell you all about our work. We look forward to seeing you there!

❗️we need your help - we are extremely busy at the moment and we’re running low on shopping bags!

If you have some that you’d like to re-home, we’d really welcome them - you can drop them off Ledbury Food Bank during any of our open sessions:

Wednesday - 9am to midday
Thursday - 6pm to 8pm
Friday - 9am to midday

And, if you visit the food bank for food, please remember to bring your bags 😊
