Leonard Cheshire in Gloucestershire

Leonard Cheshire in Gloucestershire We are Leonard Cheshire in Gloucestershire. We believe in building a fairer, more inclusive society. One that recognises the positive contributions we all make.

We provide our care home Gloucestershire House in Cheltenham and a wide range of services and programmes that support individuals to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability. As part of the charity Leonard Cheshire, we provide support to people with disabilities to live, learn and work as independently as they choose whatever their ability. Gloucestershire House

is a lovely purpose-built house offering both residential and nursing care situated on the outskirts of Cheltenham in a great residential area with local shops nearby. We also provide support in Cheltenham Supported Living with our 6 beautiful bungalows onsite. Our residents ensure their home has a very lively atmosphere and it is certainly not your standard β€˜nursing home’! Residents are supported to be a part of our local community, many are in employment or have voluntary jobs within the county and all enjoy regular trips to the pub, out for dinner, to the theatre, cinema and concerts etc. We pride ourselves on putting our residents first, offering support, building confidence and breaking down barriers. The Gloucestershire House Therapy Service offers self-funded physiotherapy and occupational therapy intervention to adults with physical and learning disabilities. Services include hydrotherapy, a skills kitchen, land-based exercise and access to a sensory room.
