We are thrilled to see our message lighting up one of the world's most iconic locations: Times Square!

Every day, hundreds of thousands of people pass through this crossroads of cultures, communities and stories. By bringing human trafficking awareness into this space, we're helping more people recognise the signs of exploitation, understand how to respond, and know where support is available.

This is just one part of our growing North America campaign, which is bringing together transportation networks, airports, hospitality, technology, government, law enforcement, survivor leaders and community organisations across the United States, Canada and Mexico to strengthen prevention, awareness and action.

Together, we're making it harder for traffickers to operate unnoticed and easier for those affected to find help.

⚽ Today, the tournament officially kicks off with Mexico vs South Africa!

As millions come together to celebrate football, we’re launching our awareness film in Spanish featuring ambassadors Oribe Peralta, Santiago Gimenez and Cesar Azpilicueta to help shine a light on an issue that often goes unseen: human trafficking.

Human trafficking is not always easy to recognise — and major sporting events create a unique platform and an opportunity for us to come together, stay informed, look out for one another and know where to seek help or report concerns.

We may support different teams, but we can all stand on the same side when it comes to protecting people. If you have four minutes today, take one small action and head to the link in our bio to explore our interactive micro-learning tool. Through real-life scenarios and situations, you’ll learn more about recognising exploitation and how to help keep communities safe.

Just as players warm up before stepping onto the pitch, we can all be better prepared to recognise when something isn't right.

In Mexico, if you need support or want to report a concern, call or send a WhatsApp message to 800 55 33 000 — the National Hotline & Chat Against Human Trafficking by Consejo Ciudadano. Free and anonymous citizen reporting.

Good luck to all the players today, and a special shoutout to our Ambassador Santiago Gimenez who is playing for Mexico in today’s match!

Kansas City marks the final launch of our North America 2026 campaign, and what a journey it has been!

From coast to coast, partners across North America have united behind one shared mission: preventing human trafficking and exploitation ahead of 2026. We celebrated that momentum in Kansas City and another important step forward in building awareness, strengthening prevention efforts, and protecting vulnerable people.

Delivered in partnership with the Missouri Attorney General Catherine L. Hanaway and the Missouri Department of Transportation, the launch brought together key local and national partners, including Airbnb, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Safe House Proiect to demonstrate the power of collaboration in tackling exploitation.

Over the past several months, our campaign has grown into a continent-wide movement spanning host cities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Together, partners have committed to raising awareness, equipping frontline communities, and ensuring human trafficking has no place before, during, or beyond 2026.

As millions of visitors, workers, volunteers, athletes, and fans prepare to travel across North America, this coalition is helping ensure prevention remains at the forefront.

A huge thank you to every organisation, leader, and advocate who has helped make this campaign possible. Together, we have built something truly extraordinary.

Kansas City may be our final launch city, but the work continues.

What a powerful morning at Newark Liberty International Airport as we officially launched in New Jersey & New York City!

Hosted by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, our campaign press launch brought together people with lived experience, leaders from transportation, tourism, government, law enforcement, technology, hospitality, and community organisations to strengthen awareness, prevention, and action against human trafficking across the region.

We were honoured to hear from speakers representing the New Jersey OAG, The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, the FIFA World Cup 2026 New York New Jersey Host Committee, Booking.com, Uber, and Hard Rock alongside Gina Cavallo, Survivor Consultant and Vice President of the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking, and other lived experience leaders whose expertise continues to shape effective prevention, safeguarding, and victim support efforts.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their expertise, and continues to champion this work. The commitment and collaboration in the room was truly inspiring, and we are incredibly grateful to the organisations and individuals helping make this campaign possible.

Human trafficking hides in the spaces we move through every day, and the travel and tourism industry is one of the most common settings for exploitation.

That’s why we’re proud to be working with and partners across the industry to equip frontline staff with the training and tools to recognise the signs.

Human trafficking has no place in our communities. That’s why this campaign is putting awareness and actionable tools directly into the hands of people across the city.

Trafficking hides in plain sight, until someone decides to look.

Meet our ambassadors! We are proud and deeply grateful to announce , and as ambassadors for the It’s A Penalty North America Human Trafficking Prevention Campaign, using their platforms and the power of sport to raise awareness where it’s needed most.

Human trafficking thrives in silence and lack of awareness. We’re working to change that —uniting corporations, NGOs and sports ambassadors to equip frontline staff and the public to recognize the signs, bust myths, and connect people to support.

We thank our ambassadors for standing up, speaking out, and helping to protect the most vulnerable. When leaders use their platforms for good, awareness can turn into action, and lives can be changed.

Everyone has a role to play — spot the signs, stop the crime.

Swipe to hear why this Campaign is important to each of our global ambassadors.

Our launch in Monterrey marks the final stop of an incredible journey across Mexico for our Human Trafficking Prevention Campaign ahead of the upcoming international soccer tournament.

Mexico has welcomed this campaign with energy, compassion and unity, and we are deeply grateful for the partnerships and friendships formed along the way.

It has been an honour to work alongside such inspiring NGOs, survivor advocates and corporate partners whose expertise, trust and dedication made these campaign launches possible. Their voices and leadership have been at the heart of this work, helping ensure the campaign is not only visible, but meaningful and impactful within local communities.

As we wrap up this important chapter in Mexico, we do so with immense gratitude for every organisation and individual who stood beside us. The energy, unity and commitment we experienced here will stay with us as we now continue the journey into our upcoming campaigns across the United States.

We now move into the next phase of our North American campaign activity across the United States, we do so inspired by the momentum built together across Mexico.
