A break from the norm this morning. We did a plant and pollinators count on the wildflower meadows down Sydenham Drive that we helped sow the seeds last year. Plenty of species spotted although due to the recent heatwaves we would have got better results doing it in June. Lesson learnt for next year.

After a last minute tidy up early this morning we then waited for the Leamington in Bloom judges. It was lovely to see Emma and Joe again to show them the changes we have made to the alleyway this year. I hope they liked what they saw. After the judges had finished their tour of Leamington everyone involved met at the Windmill Inn for a buffet lunch.

With temperatures predicted to be very high this weekend we have taken the decision to cancel our monthly litter pick this Sunday.
Hopefully temperatures will be lower for next month. We do our litter picks every second Sunday of the month. If you would like to come and join us please get in touch at [email protected]

Up early this morning before it gets too hot. Filled the gap left by the Angelica in the bed with plants. Just a temporary fix till we can come up with something more long term but the plants added will bring a splash of colour. Then it was onto watering 😩
