Hi guys Amy here firstly I would like to say a massive thank you for all the amazing messages for Gemma she is touch by them.

Also any appointment that have already been booked previously are still going to happen just it will be with myself. If their is any issue I will get in contact with you to rearrange. Please bare with me while I get used to running the rescue. Thank you everyone.

Hi guys.

This will be my (Gemma) last post on here. I have decided that I need to step down from the rescue and let it flourish with a new leader.

After a lot of fighting myself, realisations and accepting the truth, I can no longer mentally or physically run the rescue anymore. After 9 years the heart break and everything else has taken its toll and now is the right time to hand the baton to Amy Brumbill (my daughter in law). PLEASE make Amy feel as welcome and supported as you guys have made me feel over the years. I have no doubt that she will do great things with it and all animals current and in the future will be very well looked after by Amy as she has been around and help run the place when Ive been away ect. So she already knows how things work.

So this is goodbye from me, even though the guilt is strong and the tears are falling while writing this, its right for the rescue and me.

Thank you everyone for letting me have the honor to look after your animals, its definitely been a journey, but one im happy to have experienced. Love you all xx

Buddy always amazes me with his calm gentle nature.

2 rats here on holiday and just takes it all in his stride 🥰
Phantom and Mayhem (great names) are quite interested in talking to Buddy too.

Trying to make things easier.

We have had a little visitor for a couple of days.
Buddy found him in the garden, so I kept an eye on him for a few days and fed and watered him. Today seems cool enough to let him go again.

No doubt you will be back tho. 🥰
