Our Story So Far
Sync Education ltd CIC
We are a youth and community organisation that can be utilised by any other organisation, group, individual, event, project.... We offer tailored services/projects to suit your needs. We are a not for profit organisation that uses our surplus to directly fund youth and community projects and events we deem of benefit. These have included offering free places for young people on mentoring programme, reduced costings to small organisations and charities. (in a nutshell) All of our work is based upon core values of the 'Synchronicity' project, which is to promote peace and challenge violence (whether that violence be overt or structural) by operating in a safe and conscious practice that promotes leadership, positive relationships, social cohesion/awareness and personal development that is youth led where possible.
We create safe spaces to support and challenge young people to be the best versions of themselves. Sync Education STAFF Operations Director - Luke Spate: Luke has 19+ years of teaching/youth and community/ social work experience within a range of diverse settings (including street based youth work, centre based, statutory organisations, voluntary organisations, charities, further education centres to name a few), specialising in working with what society labels as 'disengaged' and 'challenging' children/young people/adults/families in a group and individual capacity; also specialising in education for peace; conflict transformation, social action, mentoring and dialogic teaching, he has even been commended by OfSted in the excellence gateway of good practice for his work with young people around equality and diversity through music and media projects. More recently won an award from SWGP (South Warwickshire GP Federation) for the pioneering work in the development and delivery of the Sydenham Social Prescription Project working in partnership with Medical Centre GP’s, Nurses and practice managers.
