What a lovely afternoon at Biblio’s! ♠️🫖🍰✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for whist and cream tea — great games 🃏, plenty of laughs 😂, and of course, delicious scones with all the trimmings 🍓🧁☕️. It was wonderful to see the room full of friendly faces 😊 and some lively competition 🏆♠️!

We enjoyed a fascinating and inspiring talk, full of culture, stories, and unique insights into life in the Philippines 🇵🇭

It was lovely to come together in the Tom Hauley Room for an evening of:

And, of course, great company and conversation!

What a fantastic evening at our WI meeting! 🌿✨

Members and guests enjoyed a truly fascinating talk from Dr Alison Foster: “Pigments, Perfumes & Piquancy – Plant Chemistry in Action.” 🌸🧪

We discovered the amazing science behind the colours, scents and flavours of plants — from vibrant natural pigments to beautifully fragrant oils and the chemistry that gives spices their fiery kick! 🌺🌶️🌼 It was a brilliant, eye-opening presentation that sparked lots of interest and conversation.

As always, the evening was rounded off with delicious refreshments, plenty of friendly chat, and an exciting raffle. ☕🍰🎟️ Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such an enjoyable night.

💚 New members and visitors are always very welcome — if you’re looking for friendly company, interesting speakers and a great community atmosphere, we’d love to see you at a future meeting!

🥣🍰 What a fantastic afternoon!

Last Saturday’s Soup & Pudding Lunch was a wonderful success – and thanks to everyone who came along, donated, helped in the kitchen, baked puddings, or simply supported the event, we raised an amazing £445! 🙌

All funds are going to support the incredible work of the Esther Project in Leamington, helping women rebuild their lives and find hope for the future. 💛

From delicious homemade soups to irresistible puddings (and plenty of laughter and conversation!), it was a brilliant community effort and a lovely time shared together.

A huge thank you to everyone who made it happen! Your generosity really does make a difference.
