What an emotional week for ANDYSMANCLUB ❤️
Reaching one million attendances through our doors, seeing the growth and developments that will help us support more men and now being able to share that Elaine and Luke have won a Pride of Britain award.
It’s a lot to take in.
When we started ANDYSMANCLUB after losing Andy, we made a lifetime commitment.
This is a mission we are locked into and forever will be.
It’s never been about awards and it never will be.
But being recognised like this has left us incredibly proud, overwhelmed and grateful to everyone who has helped build it.
Every man who has found the courage to walk through a door. Every facilitator who has opened one.
Every supporter and volunteer who has given their time, energy and belief.
Our staff who have worked their socks off and grown with us through all the challenges that come with building something like this.
Our trustees, past and present, who have helped protect the charity and the mission and our families, who have shared so much of themselves with it too.
Elaine and Luke might be the ones in the photograph, but there are thousands of people behind this moment.
From one group in Halifax to everything ANDYSMANCLUB is today, you have all played your part.
We’ll take a moment to let this sink in and be proud together.
Then we’ll keep going because there’s still a man out there who needs to know he doesn’t have to go through it alone.
