You can find us at Suite 2, Sheers Barton Barns, Lawhitton, just off the B3362 Tavistock Road and about a mile from Tesco. There is free parking right next to the building and the site is easy to find once you are on the Tavistock road. Directions are on the Contact Us page of our website if you need them.

We provide training and ongoing coaching, and the qualities that matter most are patience, kindness, and a willingness to listen. If you have a few hours to give, we would love to hear from you.

As we continue exploring fundraising opportunities to support our free, one-to-one financial guidance for local families in need, our Office Administrator, Gem, recently attended a Get Grants Funding workshop focused on corporate fundraising.

The session helped her shape a proactive approach to building stronger business partnerships within our local community.

If you cannot get to our office because of health, mobility, caring responsibilities or any other reason, we can come to you. We arrange home visits for clients who would otherwise miss out on support. Please let us know when you book and we will work out the best way to meet.

We are part of the Community Money Advice national network, which supports over 140 centres across the country. That means our advisers have access to specialist training, software and a dedicated helpline, so the advice you receive in Launceston is backed by a much wider pool of experience and support.

There are some good free resources we often point clients towards: the EntitledTo benefits calculator, Citizens Advice, MoneySavingExpert and Turn2Us among them. You will find these and more on the Useful Links page of our website. They are a good starting point if you want to do some background reading before getting in touch.

At your first appointment you will usually meet two advisers, so you have continuity going forward. We try to make sure at least one of them is at your follow-up sessions, so you do not have to keep starting from scratch. Building a bit of trust over time matters when you are talking about something personal.
