Ballygally Hall

The Ballygally Hall was the outcome of a project funded by Big Lottery, Larne Borough Council, Department of Agriculture and local residents, and begun in 2010 in an attempt to regenerate the area following the closure of the local shop. ar also provides tea and coffee facilities. This means that shoppers can relax and enjoy watching the waves and the beautiful views over Ballygally Bay, from a table in the shop. Ballygally also has a wonderful Community Hall providing facilities for classes, corporate hire and birthday parties. The Hall has a varied calendar of classes such as Bridge, Yoga, Exercise classes, Tai chi, Bowls, Boccia, Art classes for children and adults, and two Japanese language classes for teenagers and adults, along with a Youth Group. The Hall also hosts a number of events, for example - music concerts by performers such as Anthony Toner and the Belfast String Quartet, flower arranging demonstrations and Coffee Mornings. Ballygally Hall is available for bookings for all types of event such as, corporate events, business seminars, and community events. Ballygally Hall offers the perfect venue for children’s birthday parties, as not only does the Hall provide a great space for indoor games, it also offers kitchen facilities, and is situated beside the beach. The Spar also offers a great range of ice-cream, a favourite at any children’s birthday party! Ballygally Hall offers two spaces available for rental. The Main Hall has a seating capacity of 110 and provides beautiful views over Ballygally Bay. The Hall also offers Wi-Fi, an integrated PA system (inclusive of hard of hearing loop system) a wall mounted projection screen and ceiling mounted digital projector. The smaller committee room can hold up to 40 people and is a very comfortable space. Those renting the committee room can also benefit from the use of a 46 inch flat screen monitor, whiteboard and Wi-Fi access.
