Who Dares Cares Who Dares Cares Charity was founded by two former soldiers Colin MacLachlan, The Royal Scots & 22 SAS and Calum MacLeod the King's Own Scottish Borderers.

Both left the Army and for them the wars were not over. They decided to support other Veterans too

You maybe remember a Troop of Veterans from Who Dares Cares took up a challenge in July this year to raise funds by canoeing from Peebles in Scotland to Berwick Upon Tweed in England.

Part of their mission was to raise funds towards a memorial dedicated to the men of 11 Commando who were formed in the Scottish Borders at a town called Galashiels.

We are delighted to announce that work has commenced on the stone!

This work is being carried out by a stone mason Andrew Bunyan - himself a veteran.
