North Ayrshire Family History Society The North Ayrshire Family History Society (formerly Largs & North Ayrshire FHS) was formed in 1988.

It's aim is to promote the study of family history in the Local Government Authority Area of North Ayrshire, Scotland.

We have been asked to advertise a talk by one of our members - John Riddell, on Tuesday 2nd June 2026 at 7.30 in Fairlie Village Hall.

The talk is very appropriate because it is entitled 'Fife and Fairlie'
and coincides with the time when several beautiful Fife Yachts which were designed and built in Fairlie, many years ago, will be returning 'home' for a special Regatta.

Admission to John's talk is 'free' but donations (suggested amount £4) will be given to Ayrshire Hospice.

Our last meeting of the 2025/26 session will be the Society's Annual General Meeting (AGM).

This will be on Tuesday 12th May 2026 in Largs Museum starting at 7:30pm.

Our Chairperson, Stephen, will give an account of our various activities over the past 12 months and some of our other committee members will deliver their reports.

Afterwards there will be a short quiz (easier than last year!) and then it will be time to socialise over tea and coffee and refreshments provided by our committee.
