Foodbank Volunteer Holiday

Hello Everyone,

Huge thanks to all those who support Langport Cares Foodbank.

We are very low on our basic store foods this week, due to a very busy time.

We would be very grateful for donations into the basket at Tesco and One Stop, please.

We need:
Beans
Tinned meat-
Ham
Corned beef
Curry
Chilli
Chicken in white sauce
Hot dog sausages
Stewed steak
Fray bentos
Biscuits
Long life milk
Pasta
Sauces
Crackers
Weetabix
Lunchbox foods

We have plenty of soup.

We do need Shampoo and conditioner and family toothpaste.

We are grateful for any help. In date and unopened items are most welcome.

As it is half term, we will move our normal collection slots to Thursday evening (19th Feb), this week.

Please book in to request collections and referrals in the usual way.

We cannot accept walk-ins due to volunteer and stock availability.

The Angel is one of the popular community facilities in Langport Somerset. Langport is a small market town in county. It is the centre of an area of rural villages.The town itself is historic and commercial and shares much of its activity with Huish Episcopi, the main area where families reside.

Thank you for all the wonderful donations to our foodbank. The Tesco, One Stop and Langport and Street Veterinary Centre collection baskets are a lifeline to us.

We are grateful for any unopened, in date donations.

We would particularly welcome:
Baked beans
Hoops.
Tinned meats - curries, chili, spam, ham, frey bentos, chicken in white sauce
Pasta sauce
Lunchbox biscuits/bars/dried fruit and snacks
Crackers and crisps
GF and Dairy free foods
Diabetic friendly foods
Shampoo and conditioner
Deodorants
Pasta in sauce
Long life tortilla wraps
UHT milk

We have plenty of soup, rice, tea and cereals.
