Akong Memorial Foundation Help continue the activity of the remarkable Akong Tulku Rinpoche

The Akong Memorial Foundation is part of ROKPA Trust, a registered charity in England & Wales (1059293) and Scotland SCO38628. The Foundation was formed in 2013 by Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche, Abbot of Samye Ling Monastery and brother of Akong Rinpoche who says:

My brother, Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche, took care of me for about 62 years. Since he passed away I appreciate more than ever what he was t

rying to teach me and I have therefore established the Akong Memorial Foundation, dedicated to his memory and to continuing his work. Rinpoche always felt it was his duty to look after others before himself, so even the rebuilding of his own monastery in Tibet was left till last. Consequently, part of the project was not completed before his sudden death, and I am now taking responsibility to accomplish this, with all of your help. I invite all of you to join me, so together we can accomplish the things we know he would have wished to finish in relation to his monastery, Dolma Lhakang. Sincerely in the Dharma,
