Textiles Eskdale - Weaving a Future 'Weaving a Future for Eskdale' is a Langholm Initiative project that aims to re-energise our traditional textile heritage.

Developing new opportunities for enjoyment, training, employment and enterprise in the sector. Following on from our successful project “Building a Future for Eskdale”, we have recognised the resurgence of opportunities for the textile industry, and thanks to funding from the Holywood Trust and a contribution from The Cumberland Community Foundation, we have fired up a brand new project “Weaving a Future for Eskdale”
