It's official, we are now on the High Street! We made it just in time to welcome the Front Three to our new home, and Cornet Hope very kindly cut the ribbon. 🩷

A big thank you to all of the volunteers who helped us to move from our old premises. We're still getting settled, but already enjoying being in the heart of the town. We hope to see many of you popping in to say hello!👋

🏠We're moving!! 🏠

We are really excited to announce that the Langholm Initiative will shortly be moving offices after purchasing the former Bank of Scotland building on Langholm High Street.

After being based in rented premises in Buccleuch Mills for a very long time, when this more central space came up it was the perfect opportunity to be more accessibly located in the town.

The ground floor will be purchased and used as office space and are hoping to also move the visitor information hub which is currently located in the Kilngreen kiosk into the new premises too.

We hope that more people will be able to pop in and visit us on the High Street having better access to information about Tarras Valley and visiting our wonderful area.

We have a bit of decorating and sprucing up to do within the old bank after it was vacated a year ago, but we are hoping to be moving very soon. 🔨📦

We also found some unexpected new residents at the building that have made the new office a temporary home!! 🐦‍⬛
