💜 The end of an era 💜
After 3½ wonderful years, we have made the difficult decision to close The Grace Period Project.
When we started, we never imagined quite how much could be achieved with the support of an amazing community. Together, we have delivered over 4,000 Grace Bags filled with period products to people who needed them most, as well as countless reusable period products along the way 📦✨
Over the years, we’ve met so many incredible people who shared our passion for ensuring no one has to go without period products. We’ve had conversations, built friendships, learnt so much, and been continually inspired by the kindness and generosity of our community 💜🤝
We have also had opportunities we could never have imagined when we first started. We have attended national conferences, taken part in menstrual health campaigns, made radio appearances and featured in newspaper articles – all in the name of raising awareness and helping to shine a light on period poverty 🎙️📰
We have loved running The Grace Period Project, and while our journey is coming to an end, we hope the conversations around periods and period poverty continue long after we’re gone. Raising awareness, breaking down stigma and supporting those in need has always been at the heart of what we do, and we know there are many wonderful people who will continue championing this cause 🌟
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, shared our posts, packed bags, collected supplies, made deliveries, or simply cheered us on. Every single act of support helped make a difference 🙏💜
