Friends of Hamble Park

Friends of Hamble Park We are a completely non profit group of volunteers set up in conjunction with Adur & Worthing Council along side the park ranger.

Our aim is to make Hamble Park a better, safer place for the community to visit. We will be looking for support from Sompting Parish Council, Adur & Worthing Council, Sompting Big Local and local businesses. There will be small groups of litter picking set up, noone will be expected to work alone, unless they would prefer to. Pickers and bags will be supplied by Adur & Worthing Council. We hope to

have a scented area set up soon which will be bee and butterfly friendly and provide homes for bugs and beetles alike. Some work will be carried out by the council ie; tree control and grass cutting, but we can greatly help with path clearing/edging and young sapling overgrowth.
