We're big fans of the Truth campaign and think there are some key communication strategies we could be using in our own movement to build public support for animal freedom. We'd love to hear your thoughts!

While every movement is unique, there are common threads that run through all social justice issues – and lessons to be learnt from diverse campaigns...

*** Happening tomorrow!! ***

The movement for the abolition of human slavery in the UK and the US are often seen as the closest historical parallels to the modern movement for Animal Freedom. Both involve the fight against property status, exploitation and 'othering' individuals. This webinar will explore the key similarities and differences between these two movements, drawing critical takeaways that can inform and strengthen today’s movement for Animal Freedom.

This webinar will run from 4.30-5.30pm (GMT), with an unrecorded after-hours session straight after for those who'd like to continue the conversation. We hope to see you there!

Animal freedom: Is the way we're communicating our issue harming our cause rather than helping it?

We try to answer this question, and what we could be doing about it, in our latest blog post.

How we frame our messages can sometimes hinder our efforts to build support for animal freedom in ways we're not fully aware of...

In this webinar we'll share our latest findings on the challenges of building public support for animal freedom. Through careful research, we've mapped out some of the key psychological barriers that can prevent people from connecting with calls to action. Dr Rob Udale will break down the core elements that can block meaningful change, such as feelings of futility, questions of personal identity, perceived costs, and beliefs about necessity. By understanding these factors, we can begin to see why some people may turn away from supporting animal freedom, and what we can do to encourage them to live in line with their own values. This webinar will run for 1 hour (recorded) with a 30-minute open discussion after (unrecorded) for anyone who wants to join.

We hope to see you there!
