Lancaster University Barnardo's Society is dedicated to raising funds for Barnardo's - the UK's leading children's charity - and providing fun ways to get students involved in volunteer work in Lancaster. Fortnightly Meetings (Weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9)- Thursdays 19:00-20:00 on Teams

rdo-s-society. Our aim is to raise awareness and money for the well-known children’s charity as well as having fun! In addition to being a great way to give something back to the world, the Barnardo’s Society offers a fantastic way to boost your CV; our work provides the opportunity to gain experience in event management, leadership, marketing, sales, being part of a team running a business, and much more. The society has a great sense of community spirit and we adopt a work-hard-play-hard ethos, running plenty of socials across the year. Meetings are held fortnightly to discuss upcoming events and ideas - all are welcome. Please get in touch for more information.

The sale will be at the usual place at the top of the spine outside the library on Friday 6th February!

If anyone would like to volunteer to man the stand with one of our execs for an hour, please get in touch with us via dm - all help is massively appreciated!

Join us in the run up to valentine’s day and make a beautiful handmade bouquet for a loved one in your life.
We will provide all the supplies, all you need to do is pay the entry fee (£3 for members, £5 for non members - membership costs £1 at the link in our bio) which you can do via the sign up link in our linktree.

We will provide board games but if there’s any you specifically want feel free to bring them, we will also be providing some colouring sheets and colouring pencils if you’re not a board game fan!

Refreshments will be available to buy - all proceeds goes to the Barnardo’s charity.

Come and find us at the top of the spine on Friday and get some halloween themed treats such as caramel & chocolate apples as well as bags of sweets!
