The Association was set up to provide a way for Steve Baker and John Sharp run their Clubs without being involved in the, all too common, politics of the martial arts world. Founded by Shihan Steven Baker in 1995, Satori Ryu Martial Arts has grown over the years with, at it's core, a philosophy of "The enjoyment of learning with an open mind". As the Association has progressed, with Shihan Baker at the head, involvement in martial arts has nurtured many long lasting friendships and a huge amount of respect, not just for Steven but also for the Association. Satori Ryu Martial Arts Association Instructors, and Members, have travelled all over Europe to teach and train with many of the best in martial arts and hope to continue to do so for many years to come. If you are interested in joining Satori Ryu Martial Arts Association then please contact us now and have a chat.

悟り (satori)

悟 (sato) - “understand.”

悟り (satori) - “awakening.”

Sometimes wisdom arrives quietly.
Not when you find all the answers,
but when you finally stop needing them.
You see things as they are -
and somehow, that is enough.
