Got more apples than you can eat? Juicing is a fun way to make use of seasonal fruit if you don't want it going to waste!

You can now hire the Claver Hill community apple press for your event to make your own juice.

Calling all allotment holders!
If you want to learn how to sharpen and care for your hand tools, then this is the workshop for you.
Led by experienced green wood worker Adam Sargent, it will explore the whys, hows and what to use for sharpening hand tools as well as tool maintenance.
Time will also be provided for you to have a go safely yourself.

☔From Drought to Downpours – the Slugs persist!

After an exceptionally hot summer, in August the downpours began.

Of course, in other parts of the UK, rain was desperately needed, but one such downpour cancelled our mid-August tour of the farm due to flooding around the barn.

Despite conditions changing rapidly at the farm in recent weeks, Ellen and Dennis are delighted to bring you news of the farm’s first sharing of veg including an abundance of tomatoes despite challenges from the slug invaders!
