We're looking forward to our October Jumble sale at the Village hall tomorrow.
The Hall will be open to receive items for the jumble sale tonight between 19:30-21:30 and tomorrow between 10:00-12:00. We are happy to receive clothes, shoes, handbags, curtains, bedding and any other household textiles, toys, books, bric-a-brac etc.

What a Night!

Our Solstice Band Night last night was absolutely fabulous — a true celebration of live music, community, and love! ❤️

A huge thank you to the incredible bands who lit up the night with their talent, to everyone who helped bring it all together behind the scenes, and of course to every single one of you who bought a ticket, showed up, danced, and filled the hall with joy.

Your support means the world to us and helps keep our village hall alive and thriving. Here’s to many more nights like this! 🎉

Preparations are well underway and we can’t wait to see everyone there!

Doors open at 7pm!

Be sure to bring your dancing shoes and plenty of cash! Every penny raised will go towards improving the village hall.

☔ The rain won’t stop the fun – Field Day is ON! 🎉
The great British weather might be a bit soggy, but we’re not letting it dampen our spirits! 🌧️☀️
We’ve moved the fun mostly indoors – so come along, stay dry, and enjoy the stalls, games, food, and community spirit.

Today is the day. The weather might not be the best but we will go head using a little more of the Village Hall than normal.

🌟 Two Big Weekends Coming Up in Dolphinholme! 🌟

We’ve got an exciting few weekends ahead at the Village Hall – mark your calendars and get ready for some serious fun! 🎉

📚 Saturday 14th June – Dolphinholme Field Day (from 1pm)
Join us for a fantastic afternoon of village fun, kicking off with the Fancy Dress Parade (theme: My Favourite Book 📖).
✨ NEW grand prize: £25 for the best costume – so get creative!

Expect stalls, traditional games, our infamous Tug of War 💪, and of course, plenty of delicious refreshments.
The WI will be running their legendary cake stall, and they’re welcoming cake donations – so if you love to bake, bring a treat to share! 🍰

🎶 Saturday 21st June – Charity Solstice Band Night
Get your dancing shoes on and come support a great cause – our Village Hall Improvement Fund, raising money towards the upgrade of our toilets for better accessibility.
Live music, good vibes, and a great night out – what more could you want?
