Watering the young trees down at the Community Garden today at Friday Gardening Club! 🌳 🚿
Did you know there is a Community Tree Nursery at Revoe Park in the Community Garden? It’s run by the Blackpool Tree Wardens who are all volunteers . They are part of a national Tree Warden Scheme with The Tree Council and get involved in all things tree across the town! At Revoe they have been looking after rescued young trees over the spring and summer ready for them to be planted in autumn and winter. This up and coming Seed Gathering Season the team will be out collecting seed ready to grow the next generation of trees for the town! 🌰 ➡️🌱 ➡️🌳
