💚 A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT DONATIONS 💚

We truly appreciate every donation and know they’re given with the best intentions.

But please take a moment to think about what you’re donating. Would you buy it yourself?

Sadly, we receive dirty clothing, used underwear and socks, worn-out shoes, broken toys, damaged books and items that have been sitting in garages or lofts for years.

We understand people may think someone less fortunate could still use these items, but everyone deserves clean, good-quality things, regardless of their circumstances.

As a charity shop, our main purpose is to raise vital funds for children and young people, while offering affordable items to our community.

We aren’t a recycling centre, and disposing of unsellable donations costs us valuable time and money.

💚 Please keep donating! We couldn’t do what we do without you. All we ask is a little thought about what goes into your bags.

Sharing a memory 💚

Sometimes something comes into our shop that you just know probably shouldn’t have ended up there… but somehow you get completely invested in it. ❤️

You care about it, wonder about its story, and really want to make sure it ends up in the right hands.

I still remember one particular item that did exactly that to me. Funny how working in a charity shop can do that — sometimes it’s so much more than just sorting donations. 💚
