You literally have to duck to get in, but once you’re inside The Duck Inn, you’ll want to stand up and cheer for the Guinness. 🦆🍻

With a vintage red pump promising creamy perfection, we had high hopes. But what we got exceeded every single one. This was the shtickiest pint of our lives. The domeage was out of control—spilling over the glass in the best way possible.

Flavour-wise, it was on point. A super creamy, velvety texture with that classic, slightly bitter kick. And the best part? It was under £5. In this economy, that’s what we call legendary.

If you can survive the low beams without a bump on the head, you’ll be rewarded with one of the best pints we’ve ever had. A hidden gem. Would duck again.

O’Gilíns Irish Pub out here claiming “first Irish pub in Lisbon” and honestly? We’re not here to argue. Especially when the Guinness pumps are almost the same age as the reviewers 👀 — these 30+ year-old relics still doing the Lord’s work 😇

Flavour & balance: near perfect 🤝 Creaminess & temperature could’ve gone a tad harder. 🥶
Domeage was playing it a bit safe, could had been bigger. Our second visit did produce a cracker though… we visited more than once

But overall… this might genuinely be the best overseas Guinness we’ve had 👀🍻 delivering the goods!

Came for the sunshine, stayed for the stout. Would absolutely come back. Sláinte! 🪉

Pulled up a stool at the Settle Inn, apparently the oldest pub in Stirling… though that claim caused more debate than the correct way to pour a Guinness 👀🍀

Inside? Pure stout heaven. Super cosy vibes, a roaring log fire, and enough rustic charm to make you consider settling in for the winter (sorry, we had to) ❄️

Now to the main event: the Guinness.
Beautifully poured with care, super creamy, excellent domeage, and served at a spot-on temperature. This pint knew what it was doing. 💪 The flavour didn’t shout as loud as some, but it still spoke fluent Guinness; smooth, comforting, and exactly what you want when it’s freezing outside.

And at £5 a pint? That’s proper value for money 🤑

Overall, a cracking place to escape the cold, warm the soul, and enjoy a pint that definitely deserves a seat by the fire🍻
