Three weeks of barn owl family life in one reel — from tiny fluffballs to bold, hungry chicks 🐣✨
Our wildlife camera has been quietly watching the parents bring food, the chicks growing stronger, and those little personalities starting to show. Such a privilege to witness.

A fun find on the woodland floor this week 🌿✨ — dog vomit slime mould (Fuligo septica) 🐾. Despite the name, it’s completely harmless and plays an important role in breaking down dead wood 🍂. Nature is full of surprises! 🌼

From storm damage to something beautiful again. This birch lintel came from a tree brought down in Storm Darragh here in Longwood, milled at our sawmill and given a new lease of life as this stunning lintel. 🤍🌳
