How to book Ladock Community Hall

The hall may be booked using email address [email protected]

Availability for the most part is limited if you are booking for an event in the current or next 2 months. Generally, booking well in advance is a more likely positive outcome on the date and time you require. Having said that, we do try to fit people in where possible at short notice.

The cost for hire is £15 per hour, (up to 6pm), which includes tables, chairs, (in the double slide doors in the hall), an automatic landscape projector screen in front of the stage and a pull-down projector screen at the other end of the hall, kitchen prep area including all cutlery, crockery, hot water for tea, coffee. Dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and pasty warmer. The evening rate is £40.00, (6pm to 11pm). The main hall also has a stage, (with permission), and WiFi - all inclusive in the price. We do not supply tea-towels or o/h projector

There is a very good PA & Loop System available to use if required - please ask.

Car park attached to the hall for up to 25 cars and an overflow car park across the river. The pub car park is private land and only for the use of customers to the pub.

You are quite welcome to visit the venue at an agreed date & time when it is available to view - please ask

Over the past two or three years, the hall has been refreshed and updated. All the curtains have been replaced, the lighting has been converted to LED, kitchen area has been refloored, retiled, hot water supply and cabinets renewed and dishwasher upgraded, new heating system installed, (ambient temperature is about 16 to 17 degrees centigrade), and much more in progress.

If you are Ladock Parish resident, then you are entitled to the village rate of £12.00 per hour up to 6pm, then £30.00 for the evening, (6pm to 11pm).

The hall does not have a licence for alcohol, that is, a bar cannot be set up, nor alcohol sold within the event.

Ladock Community Hall - Chairperson

If you have been thinking of joining a really worthwhile charity in the Parish, then please would you contact our Secretary, (Martin Stals), via email [email protected], or contact [email protected]

The Ladock Community Hall Management Committee has had to take a difficult decision of raising the rate of hire from 1st January 2026.
This is being forced upon us by outside influences of steeply rising costs associated with administering a Community Hall

Bottom line is that the hall has to pay its way.

All revenue is ploughed back into the maintenance and fabric of the place, including licences, health and safety checks required by law, replacing old or worn out items used frequently, and other stuff that somehow rears its expensive problem; e.g. water boiler failure, or kitchen flooring replaced.

All Committee members and Trustees are unpaid volunteers. We recently appointed a new Chair and Treasurer, we also would like to welcome new people to the group.

New Rates with effect from 1st January 2026:

Village Rate per hour up to 6pm £12.00
Village Rate for the evening, from 6pm £30.00

Non Village Rate per hour up to 6pm £15.00
Non Village Rate for the evening, from 6pm £40.00

All other rates are not affected, (Meeting Room, Friday & Saturday evenings)

The Community Hall has been quite busy and is used by hirers for all types of activities ranging from delivering training/education content to dancing, singing and crafting.
