✨ A Magical End to the Rowing Year ✨

As 2025 draws to a close, a few of our members have been making the most of some last-minute rowing in truly stunning conditions. We headed out from Plockton into the deep waters of Kishorn, hoping to spot the humpback whales that have recently been seen in the area. We were absolutely delighted to be rewarded with a sighting. Sadly, we were far too awestruck by such a magnificent creature to even think about taking a photograph!...

A HUGE thank you to Cromarty Community Rowing Club for hosting us at their Regatta this weekend! 🤩

We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this brilliant event. We are very grateful to other clubs, who helped us to fill a few seats in Saucy Mary. Your generosity enabled us to participate in a greater number of races - thank you! 🙏

⭐️ We were absolutely delighted to receive the bronze award for the 60+ women's race. 🥉🥉🥉 Massive congratulations to Helen, Claire, Christine, Linda (Row Porty) and Lisa. 🌟🥂💥🥳

We had an amazing time yesterday at Strathpeffer Regatta – huge thanks to Strathpeffer And District Community Rowing Club for hosting us 🤩🌞

With only a small team travelling, we were very grateful to Strathpeffer for filling a couple of seats in Saucy Mary 🚣‍♀️. Together we managed to bring home bronze in the Novice race, congratulations go to to Claire, Jane, Rebecca, Lesley (cox) and Joel (Strathpeffer) 🥉 💪

👏 A massive well done to Rebecca, our newest member, who took part in her very first regatta and came home a medal winner! 🎉 An amazing achievement and such an inspiration for anyone thinking of giving rowing a try.

Rowing is a sport for everyone – whether you’re curious about regatta racing, or just want to enjoy being out on the water, why not come along and give it a go? 🌊
