Yesterday the Knutsford Rex Probus Club's Walking Group ventured out to Thelwall for a great walk along the Trans Pennine Trail into Lymm where we stopped for a coffee at the former site of the Lymm railway station. We followed the Bridgewater Canal on the way back and were amazed by the Japanese style Cherry overhanging the towpath. At Thelwall we had a nice lunch at The Little Manor. Yesterday, the Knutsford Rex Probus Walking Group did a 4.6 mile walk around the Kelsall Area taking in ‘Little Switzerland’ as it’s known locally. Afterwards we stayed for a brilliant lunch at the 'Morris Dancer' Pub in Kelsall. The Group walks on each of the Thursdays which doesn’t feature a Guest speaker at the club’s 23 normal Thursday meetings each year.
