Today we’re celebrating a special milestone at Stable Minds.

A huge congratulations to Lorriann for reaching her first 100 placement hours with us.

Every hour represents conversations held, trust built, learning embraced and people feeling seen andsupported. Placement journeys take dedication, courage and heart, and Lorriann has shown all three throughout her time with us.

We feel incredibly lucky to have been part of your journey and are proud to watch her confidence and practice continue to grow.

Happy Birthday to our founder, 🎂

Fun, full of energy, slightly chaotic at times 😂 and always creating spaces where children and young people feel safe enough to just be themselves.

Behind the smile is somebody who turned lived experience into something truly powerful for the community. From one conversation under a rainbow umbrella to building a multi award-winning organisation supporting thousands of people, Milly has poured her heart into Stable Minds every single day.

Thank you for your compassion, determination and for never losing sight of why Stable Minds was created in the first place.

A little update from us at Stable Minds

Our adult wellbeing drop-in service will now run every Monday morning from 9am–12pm (excluding Bank Holidays).

The drop-in remains a safe and welcoming space for adults who may need emotional wellbeing support, a listening ear, or help accessing the right support around them. No referral needed.

Parents and carers are also welcome to access the drop-in for advice, guidance or to ask questions around support available for children and young people.

Alongside our drop-in service, we continue to offer:

💙 Low-cost counselling sessions from £20
💙 Counselling sessions
💙 Lead counsellor support
💙 Specialist therapeutic support
💙 Support for children, young people and adults

Thank you for continuing to support our community-led organisation as demand for mental health support continues to grow.

Creativity has a way of bringing people together

One of the things we love most about our Creative Hub is watching people walk in feeling nervous and leave feeling lighter, calmer and more connected.

The workshops are not about being “good” at art or creativity. They are about creating safe spaces where people can slow down, express themselves, build confidence and connect with others without judgement.

Hearing feedback like this reminds us why community spaces matter so much.

We’re incredibly grateful to have been chosen as one of the charities supported by this year’s Knutsford Beer Festival

Taking place across the bank holiday weekend from 28th–30th May, the festival brings together live music, local drinks and community fundraising for local causes.

Since the festival began, it has raised more than £62,000 for local charities, and this year proceeds will support Stable Minds alongside other local organisations.

As a community mental health organisation supporting children, young people, adults and families, support like this genuinely helps us continue providing accessible mental health support locally.

A huge thank you to everybody organising, sponsoring and attending this year’s event. Community support really does matter.
