💚 City Nature Challenge 💚

We have been fortunate enough to host two City Nature Challenge events this weekend as part of the global wildlife recording campaign.

On Saturday we joined and at Oak Plantation for guided walks, nature based crafts and speaking to partners about their work in our parks and green spaces including leaky dams, natural flood management programmes and wildlife recording.

On Monday hosted wildlife talks and pond dipping at Court Hey Park.

The City Nature Challenge is an important programme for recording local wildlife to support science and conservation on iNaturalist.org. You can find out how to download and use the app in some of our noticeboards.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, our partners and across the Liverpool City Region who joined in - every observation counts - not just for this weekend, but you can record wildlife, habitats and species every day.
