The Chatty Café Scheme is looking for cafés, pubs, restaurants, community spaces and other welcoming venues across the UK to join our growing network of Chatty Café venues.

Our aim is simple: to help reduce loneliness and social isolation by creating friendly spaces where people can come together, enjoy a cuppa and have a chat. ☕🗣️

But becoming a Chatty Café venue isn’t just good for your community — it can be good for your business too.

By joining the scheme, your venue can:

⭐ Attract new people through your doors
⭐ Encourage regular and repeat visits
⭐ Build stronger relationships with your local community
⭐ Create a warm, welcoming reputation

No photo today as we were too busy chatting. As we come to say cheerio to friends who are soon moving away, we’re also welcoming newcomers to Knowle who are keen to get to know others in the village. If you’ve just move to Knowle (or are an existing resident) we’re a friendly bunch and meet every Tuesday between 10 and 11.30.

Our Chatty Tables bring people together in cafés, pubs, libraries, community spaces and other welcoming venues for something incredibly simple: a cuppa, a chat and a little human connection.
