A huge shout out to the wonderful team at Marmalade Trust and their week-long campaign to raise awareness of loneliness and social isolation.

At The Chatty Café Scheme, this is a cause very close to our hearts. Every day, in venues across the UK, we see first-hand how something as simple as a conversation can brighten someone’s day, boost confidence, and help people feel connected again.

Loneliness can affect anyone, at any age, and no one should have to face it alone.

Lovely morning with new friends at our Chatty Table. Almost everyone attending said that until the Chatty Table started, they didn’t know anyone in the village so it has provided them with an opportunity to meet people and make new friends. Please join us - we meet every Tuesday between 10 and 11.30.

Amazing morning today with Cllr Angela Clear who came to see what Chatty Cafe was all about. It was great to meet her and talk about the issues which are concerning us in Knowle. We kept cool in the shade with some yummy ice drinks.
