THREE WEEKS TO GO 🎉

Three weeks today, Knowle celebrates its history - and we want you to be part of it.

The High Street closes to traffic on Sunday 21st June for a free, family-friendly day and the programme is looking marvellous. Live music ‘uptown’ by the Red Lion & ‘downtown’ near Solihull Music School, an artisan market, street food, community stalls, library activities, heritage exhibitions, children's activities, special church services and an official opening ceremony attended by some of the region's most distinguished guests.

Entertainment from Allure School of Dance, Knowle Musical Society Knowle Revels, Chipsum Gravy, Amy Price, George Wilson, The Alcohol Licks Shed Men Walking and Definitive.

Shops and cafes are opening especially for the day. The pubs are going back in time. And the whole village is coming together to mark 750 years in the best way possible.

Free entry. 11am–5pm. Sunday 21st June. Knowle High Street.

In 1276, Knowle became a manor in its own right. This June, we're marking 750 years of that with a night to remember.

The Gala Dinner on 19th June brings together everything that makes this village worth celebrating - good food from Gourmet Foods, performances from Anna Higgins and Knowle Musical Society, a fundraising raffle, and a room full of people who care about Knowle's future as much as its past.

Will you be there?
