Thankyou to everyone that has purchased items from George that have been delivered ❤️ our Christmas appeal is in full swing 🎄 however we are running low on young male clothing from xs upto 4xl we have so many young people coming through colleges and six forms 🥺 we work closely with lots of other organisations unfortunately they are not getting the support that we do so we are helping their people also 🥺 The clothing bank community is helping us move forward by sharing and talking about the clothing bank ❤️ hopefully one day we won’t be needed as much as we are right now 🤞 unfortunately I can’t see that happening as we are busier than ever 😢

We have so many working people coming through our doors that would never have needed our help beforehand 😢 unfortunately the cost of living food 🍱 utilities tax petrol everything else you need to survive has left working families on the breadline 😢 we have taken the clothing budget away for our working families they deserve help also ❤️ they are the ones that are struggling the most simply for just trying to make their lives a little better 😢 one dad said how do we decide which child to clothe first through our wage 😢 this is often the only choices they have 😢

We get lots of messages from people that because our service is free they are entitled to our help 🥺 we are a unique charity that will never change the way we run or what we started it for ❤️ priorities play a big part in our charity if you have them in order you are more than welcome ❤️ yesterday we had two women both with two little people 🥺 one clearly put her little people first ❤️ worked three jobs a day cleaning while they were in school but couldn’t afford to dress them 😢 the other by giving her clothing it was helping her afford the lip fillers 😡 we will however not let her children go without but we will go through their teachers to give them the support they need ❤️ we work so hard at this charity we will not be abused because we offer a free service 😡 we work outside 50 weeks of the year in everything that the weather throws at us 🥺 your preloved clothing is so precious to us to find it a new home that is so well deserved is our number one priority ❤️

We desperately need t-shirts for men women and children 🤞 after a really busy summer we have nearly run out of them 😢 I know you are thinking they are summer items but we use them in winter also as base layers 🥶 yesterday with the packs that were done we had 370 T-shirts 👕 go out 🥺 we are so busy at the moment as people are noticing it getting colder and they are worried 😢 unfortunately we have had to put a hold on requests while we clear some of the backlog of people waiting for help 😢 we hate to do this as it is against our nature but we will keep trying our best ❤️
