A VERY BIG THANK-YOU.
First of all I want to thank the Feva committee for all their hard work planning this years events, many of them were new to the committee and their enthusiasm was inspiring. I also need to thank our sponsors Piccadilly Motors, Knaresborough Town Council, Knaresborough Lions, Knaresborough Chamber of Trade, W Bowers Funeral Directors and councillor Matt Walker who arranged the locality grant. Without their support we would not be able to plan and deliver the festival. The festival could not happen without the cooperation of the venues across town, so thank you Knaresborough Players for the use of the theatre, the staff at King James School for their help, the staff and volunteers at Henshaws Arts and Crafts and the volunteers at Holy Trinity and St. John’s Church for always being on hand to help. Harrogate Town Council have been very supportive of the festival this year as has North Yorkshire County Council, helping me obtain the various permissions required to carry out Feva. Knaresborough Business Collective who lent us the flag poles for our new Feva flags and Peter Lacey(and Col the friendly roofer) who very kindly put up and took down the flags deserve a special vote of thanks, the town looked great. I would also like to thank Mark at Printzone for his patience as we put together the programme and Chris at Flying Colours for his help in organising the flags and bunting. A big thank you goes to all of the Businesses in town that became art galleries and those that turned pink to celebrate the festival, you never cease to amaze me with your creativity. Last of all I want to thank everyone who came out and supported events. The buzz around town was great and the performers really enjoyed being out performing for live audiences again. So thank you all and see you next year.
