We've been quiet on the socials, but we haven't gone anywhere, still bringing you free tech help, and the socials will be back to regular scheduling shortly!

Just thought we'd jump on and say we've got some exciting news: we've been nominated for an award by the Digital Poverty Alliance!

We've been shortlisted for Digital Skills Development! We're extremely excited to be nominated at a national scale, mentioned alongside some greats such as AbilityNet and others doing such great work. It's a privilege to be mentioned alongside them, and this is just the beginning.

Click the link to read the full shortlist, and we'll see you all in London for the awards ceremony!

Thanks to everyone who's come to our sessions at, we couldn't have got this recognition without you. πŸŽ‰

πŸƒ Team Tech Affinity are running the Barnsley 10K for Age UK Barnsley πŸƒ

On 28th June 2026, five of us from Tech Affinity CIC, Richard, Olivia, Jimmy, Mason, and Daniel will be taking on the Barnsley 10K in aid of the wonderful Age UK.

Older adults deserve connection, confidence, and a helping hand β€” and Age UK does incredible work to make sure they get it.

So we're running 10 kilometres through Barnsley to show our support. We may have finally found something that can't be fixed with a factory reset β€” our fitness levels.
But what we lack in speed we'll more than make up for in heart!πŸ“±

Every penny you donate goes directly to Age UK to support older people who need it most. No admin fees, no faff, just real help for real people. Whether it's Β£2 or Β£20, it genuinely makes a difference.

Age UK supports millions of older people across the country β€” providing advice, companionship, and practical help to those who need it most. Loneliness, poverty, and poor health don't have to be inevitable parts of growing older, and Age UK works tirelessly to make sure they aren't.

So please donate if you can, share this page with your friends and family, and come cheer us on in Barnsley on the 28th. We'll be the ones gasping for breath and questioning all of our life choices. πŸ˜…
