In Finland, education is completely free for all students. During primary school, children receive free textbooks, meals, and health and social support.

Tablets are provided from third grade onwards, while older students use laptops. School meals are also free and adapted to different needs – there are special meals for vegetarians, as well as gluten- and lactose-free options.

Parents do not have to pay additional fees, and no donations or contributions for field trips are requested. The entire cost is borne by the state. This investment in education is considered essential for the country's future, as a well-educated society forms the basis for a strong economy, a functioning healthcare system, and social justice.
