Loving Homes Dog Rescue SCIO Dogs for Adoption. Charity No: Sc047453 We are a UK based rescue and this is the LHDR page where we showcase all of our dogs currently available for adoption. We are a United Kingdom based Rescue.

Every dog homed by Loving Homes Dog Rescue has undergone a full assessment, usually within a foster home. This gives us an opportunity to establish whether a dog is suitable to be homed with other dogs, children, cats or frail/older residents and to look at the kind of lifestyle the dog needs. Please respect this knowledge, and be honest in your application. For example, if a dog's details state t

hat it is not good with young children and your family has one or more, don't be offended when we turn you down. Your children may be wonderful and very dog savvy, but the dog we are homing is not comfortable around them regardless. We work hard to ensure the best possible homing match for every dog, and every home. We offer ongoing support post adoption to assist with settling a dog in, and every dog obviously has lifetime back-up from the rescue. All of our dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated before adoption. They are also neutered/spayed unless too young, where a vet has advised against it for medical reasons, or where a bitch's season or spay history is unknown. In these instances a neutering agreement will accompany the adoption contract, and you will be expected to adhere to this, ensuring that the dog is neutered within the given timescale. Proof will be required and follow up checks carried out to ensure this has been done. Failure to do so may lead to the dog being removed by the rescue. Adoption is dependent on a successful interview, homecheck and introductions and an adoption donation applies, whereon a contract will be completed with the rescue and new home.

Apologies to all, we just don't have the manpower to keep two pages updated especially as Facebook keeps updating and making all our links obsolete. Please, follow us on our main page

Koda is a young boy looking for a home that can provide him the attention he needs!

Koda is crate trained, and comfortable to remain in his crate for short periods. He is looking for a home where someone can be around more consistently as he settles in and grows out of his puppy behaviours. He has a tendency to chew when left unsupervised.

Koda is looking for an active home that can offer plenty of exercise and stimulation, as he is a very energetic boy!

Koda is a smart boy and already knows basic commands. He is looking for a home to continue his ongoing training, as he is only young and is learning in time!

Koda is friendly towards other dogs, and has the potential to live in a multi-dog household. Any companion would need to be confident enough to put up with that puppy energy, or simply match it! Slow introductions would be required before Koda joins a home alongside a companion.

Koda can be quite excitable, and is still learning his boundaries. He is good with children, but would be best suited to a home where any children are older!

Koda is ready and rearing to go in search of a playful and loving Furever Home! πŸ’›πŸ•

If you are interested in Koda, please message our page directly or email us at [email protected] stating that you are interested in Koda!

Ralph is a very energetic boy; loving nothing more than to run and play with human and dog friends alike! He is looking for an active home that can offer him plenty of exercise and stimulation.

Ralph is a happy boy that is eager to please! He is housetrained and well-behaved, and is simply looking for the chance to run and play to his heart’s content!

Ralph can be reactive towards other dogs whilst on the lead, but has shown to be comfortable when playing off-leash. He has the potential to live with a companion, and will require slow introductions before joining a multi-dog household.

Ralph is looking for his next big adventure in his new Furever Home! πŸ’›πŸ•

Hope was seized from a life of neglect, and has shown to truly live up to her name in the safety of rescue!

In just 8 weeks, she gained 7.5kg of healthy weight; along with recovering from fleas, worms, and ulcerations on her eyes. She remains with some scarring on her eyes, but this causes her no issue.

Hope is an easy girl, and simply needs to be shown what safe and secure love really looks like! She has been shown to suffer with mild separation anxiety; but with her history, who can blame her? A new home would require someone to be around more consistently, just whilst Hope settles in.

Hope is well-mannered on the lead and enjoys keeping active! Whilst already housetrained, she is looking for a home that is ready to continue her ongoing training with commands and boundaries.

Hope is comfortable around other dogs, and has the potential to live with a companion. She will require slow introductions before joining a multi-dog household.

Hope has lived through rough times, and is excited to reach the light at the end of the tunnel in her perfect new Furever Home! πŸ’›πŸ•
