A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Kilt Walk yesterday and helped make it such a brilliant success. 🩵🤍

It was wonderful to see so many people walking through the streets of Kirkwall, proudly wearing their tartan and showing their support for prostate awareness. The atmosphere was fantastic, with families, friends and four-legged friends all getting involved! 🥾🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The walk was about much more than raising funds — it was about getting people talking about prostate health and encouraging men to get checked.

From all of us on the Orkney Prostate Awareness committee, thank you for your incredible support. 💙

Every step helps spread the message: don’t ignore it — get checked.

Meet us at the Orkney Rugby Football Club at 10:30am this Saturday, before we head off on our stomp around the toon at 11am.

We’d love to see as many of you as possible to help us raise awareness and further support for OPA 💙

Who fancies a Kilt Walk? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Our OPA committee are organising a Kilt Walk to take place on Saturday the 29th of August to raise more all important awareness for our charity. Leaving from the Orkney Rugby Football Club, we’ll stomp the street of Kirkwall before returning to the club and presenting the match ball for the first game of the season against Aberdeen Grammar Rugby 🏉 So look out your kilts, your tartan shawls, even your tartan socks will do, and come along! Families are welcome and we’ll have more details to follow on routes and start times 🏳️ Together, we can help Orkney men and their families 🩵🤍
