It was wonderful to see so many fantastic gardens, and judging was no easy task!

Congratulations to all our winners, and thank you again to everyone who participated and helped make the competition such a success. 🌿🏑🌸

Thank you to all the people that have responded, we still need people to help with our tiered planter and the barrel and railing planters on Newliston Rd and Path Brae.

Your help would be really appreciated.

Kirkliston Community Conservation Volunteers Need You!

We have now started to add summer plants to the planters around the village. In order for the plants to survive, especially in weather like this, they need to be watered often.

We have a great team of people that do the watering, but we need more!

Could you commit to watering a planter once a week, that would be a great help to us. You could even get the kids involved!

Please comment on here or send a message.

Many thanks

🌟 Donations Needed for Kirkliston Gala Day – Saturday 13th 🌟

We’re looking for a little help from our amazing community to help us raise funds for this year’s Gala Day πŸ’š

We would be so grateful for any donations for our stalls and fundraising activities, including:

🍾 Bottles of anything
🎁 New/unused gifts
🍬 Sweets & biscuits
🌱 Plants or garden cuttings

Every donation, big or small, really helps and is hugely appreciated.

If you have anything you’d like to donate but can’t drop it off, don’t worry β€” we’re happy to arrange collection/pick up πŸš—

Thank you for supporting our community and helping make Gala Day on Saturday 13th a great success 🌼

Please message the page if you can help.

A huge well done to some of the girls from the 2nd Kirkliston Guides who were hard at work last night helping to brighten up our community 🌿🌼

The team worked on the wildflower area on Stirling Road and also spent time weeding the gardens on Manse Road. Other Guides carried out a litter pick around the area and cleared a verge on Manse Road which will now become another beautiful wildflower haven to help enhance the local environment for everyone to enjoy.

Fantastic community spirit and teamwork from all involved πŸ‘

Special thanks and credit to Catherine, Guide Leader, all the Guides and Valerie for their hard work and dedication to making Kirkliston look even better πŸ’š
