Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities

‼️ MARKET CANCELLED ‼️

Unfortunately due to the incoming storm and Sundays wind gust speeds predicted to be up to 60mph, we have had to make the very difficult decision to cancel this Sundays market.

This is not a decision we have made lightly, we have explored all other options to move the market but unfortunately been met with dead ends. We can not put up gazebos when gust speeds are above 26mph so 60 is just a little too high. The safety of our traders and customers is always our top priority.

If there were any traders you were hoping to see for something in particular then you can get in touch with them via their social media page, they may be able to arrange delivery or collection for you instead.

We’ll be back next month for our big two day Christmas market on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November.

🎄 As part of this years ‘A big Kirkcudbright Christmas’, our November market will be on the fifth weekend of November rather than the fourth.

🎅🏼 Join us for a big Kirkcudbright Christmas market on Saturday 28th 11am-5pm AND Sunday 29th 11am-3pm November.

🛍️ You’ll find the big marquee filled to the brim with local traders of food, drinks and crafts in the harbour square car park.

More details to come about the whole weekend in the next few weeks.

‼️Don’t forget our next market first, Sunday 25th October 11am-3pm in the harbour square car park.

Please note - after the success of last year, we have had a great deal of new applications for this years Christmas market. We are still busy going through the regular traders, once this has been done, any spaces will be advertised on our farmers market page. While we would love to give everyone a space, we can only fit so many traders inside the marquee to keep it safe and running smoothly for everyone. We appreciate the patience of those who are waiting but until we know how much space we have, we can’t give out any more spaces. Thank you for understanding.
