We’re delighted to host a family‑friendly litter‑picking coastal walk as part of the Kirkcaldy Walking Festival on 7th June.

Join us for a gentle walk along the Fife Coastal Path to Seafield Tower. Spend time in nature, spot local wildlife (including the much‑loved Seafield seals) and help keep our beautiful coastline clean. 🌊

All equipment will be provided; simply dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.

Uczniowie Polskiej Szkoły Sobotniej uczestniczyli w akcji sprzątania lokalnego parku i lekcji o dbaniu o nasze środowisko.

Rozwiązywali zagadki, segregowali odpady, uzbierali 9kg śmieci i dostali certyfikat Strażników Przyrody. ❤️🌿🌷. Brawo dla wszystkich uczestników.

A warm thank you to everyone who came to our family-friendly litter-picking event at Ravenscraig Park, organised in collaboration with Greener Kirkcaldy.

What a day: a visit to Ravenscraig Walled Garden, 4.4 kg of litter collected, and eight kids learning how to look after our green spaces. A special thank-you to the participant who came all the way from Dalgety Bay.

Ravenscraig has everything we need to enjoy the outdoors - but litter doesn't belong on that list. Let's make sure we use the bins and take our rubbish home, helping to keep the park clean and same for kids and for all visitors.

What a day: two hours in the park, 11kg of litter, and seven kids learning to look after our green spaces.

A big thank you to everybody who joined us today for the Spring Clean at Dunnikier Country Park. It was great to see kids eager to pick up litter, enjoy some time outdoors, and play in the park.

Together we collected around 11 kg of rubbish.

Thank you to Kirkcaldy Golf Club for the hot chocolate, and to the Dunnikier Country Park Development Group, Peter Docherty and Charlotte Hatrick from Keeping Kirkcaldy Tidy for helping to organise the event and assisting with the rubbish collection.

We’ll be back for another event in the future.
