📢 Knowsley’s Family and Community Education (FACE) service will shortly be opening its doors to a range of adult learning help and support in Kirkby town centre.

✅ FACE will be based in unit 13 Chad’s Parade from 13 April and will support local residents access learning and training opportunities, improve their skills and gain qualifications.

💻 Courses that will be available through the FACE “hub” in Kirkby town centre include Functional Maths and English skills, Youth Work Principals, Introduction to Mental Health, Reiki, Diet and Nutrition, Kirkby Past and Present and many more.

On Friday we had the amazing Maureen Gildea Natural Therapies & Wellbeing for a wellbeing day, staff and volunteers had a treatment then the most amazing sound bath that was funding by Knowsley Chamber Wellbeing grant. It was also my last day in the centre as I start my retirement, thank you to the most lovely team, I will miss everyone and especially all the gorgeous young people in youth club. It’s been an honour for the last three and half years. ❤️

Would you like to become a Youth Worker? If so, please come along to our 12 week course.

This course is FREE if you earn below £35,864 per year and you live in the Liverpool City Region (Knowsley, Liverpool, Halton, Sefton or Wirral).

There are two classes to choose from:
