Our Club was formed on 19 April 2007 and our time so far in Rotary has been extremely enjoyable, fulfilling, and eventful! We are part of the largest charitable and service organisation in the world but we never forget to have fun in the process, whether we are raising money for good causes or working with other Rotary Clubs in the North East on joint ventures and larger fund raising projects. Thr
ough our various fundraising activities and a number of very successful social events we have been delighted to be able to make donations to a number of local charitable organisations. In addition, local projects to benefit young people in Kintore and the surrounding area are very much part of our ongoing activities and we continually seek to work with other organisations in the community to deliver real help to those in need. Further afield, we have donated to a children's project in Kenya and are also working with another children's organisation in Melkbosstrand near Cape Town in South Africa. We are keen to expand the membership of our Club to allow us to better achieve our goals. As a member of Rotary, there are real opportunities to improve the lives of others and, collectively, I am sure we can make a real difference to those most in need. Our Club meets regularly, often in Kemnay or at an agreed location on Thursday evenings at 7 pm for 7.30 pm (Currently meeting online via Zoom, please message for an invite to join us!). You are invited to come along to see at first hand what we are currently involved in. You will be made most welcome by our members. Just get in touch to find out about our next meeting and where we’ll be!
