Without the volunteers there wouldn't be any Gathering. A heartfelt thanks to all the unsung heros:

setting up and taking down
making sure that everything goes according to plan
making a plan
dealing with the booking and the admin
selling raffle tickets
organising raffle prizes
and so forth.
Hundreds of hours are given every year to the Gathering and that is what makes it possible.
Thanks! You make the world a better place!

The Big Reveal: the 2026 theme for the Fossoway Gathering!
Let us know if you have any ideas for demonstrations, activities, stalls and other things! We will be happy to invstigate.
Would you like to be a part of our event - even for one hour: get in touch. We will need: hosts and hostesses to welcome people and sell raffle tickets, people who can build up and take down the site, people who can help in the marquees.
But we need you ALL to come and support this community event. And entry to it is still free!🤩🥰😲

The Fossoway Gathering is on the look-out for a pipe band. We would live to have a pipeband for the parade en/or during the day.
The Fossoway Gathering is the annual gala day, regularly attracting 1,000 visitors. This year it is held on the 5th of September, opening 11.30, closing 4.30.
Please share widely and get in touch with ideas.
We look forward to welcoming you!

Work on the Gathering starts with the opening of the container in Waulkmill Park. We will inspect all the equipment and see what needs to be replaced, mended or added to.
Come and meet us, chat with us and lend us a hand. Even 30 minutes of your time would make a difference.

We will be at the container tomorrow, 9 May from 10am.

The Fossoway Gathering is this year on 5 September. Put a cross in your diary so you won't miss the prime event of our local, social calendar. Consider helping out - the Gathering is more fun because of it.

Work on the Fossoway Gathering usually starts with opening the container and make an inventory of the equipment. What needs to be replaced, mended or added to.
Come and meet us, give us your thoughts and lend us a hand. We will be at the container Saturday 9 May, 10 am. Even half an hour of your time would make a difference.

Remember, the Fossoway Gathering is on Saturday 5 September, starting at around 11.30. Don't miss this prime event in our local calendar and consider to volunteer - if even on the day.

This Wednesday at 7 pm, The Fossoway Gathering Committee starts with the planning of this year's Fossoway Gathering, which will take place on the 12 of September 2026.
