Good News 🙂 We have finally got all the ground works done around the new riding arena down where the MCC CL ( Motor Caravanners Club 5 Van Certified Location ) and where our Wild Camping is for smaller tents. I still have to sow the grass on the new flat grass areas and it will take a month or more to grow before it can be camped on but we still have limited areas for small tents and plenty of room for Motorhomes.
If you have your own toilets you are welcome to call me and request to stay down beside the beach on the River Spey where we allow our VIP guests to stay.
It is great we can now say goodbye to the big heap of gravel that made the place look like a building site ! This was supposed to have been done at the start of May but my neighbour Simon Leslie with the digger has been so busy he only just managed to find time to do it now at the start of August - but at least it is done now 🙂 We look forward to seeing you here 🙂

BBC Alba TV News (An La) footage from last night on the Kingussie Mart and with our Highland Ponies and Highland Cattle 🙂 The History and Heritage of the old mart 🙂
Royal Highland Show coverage from 14.00 mins and Kingussie Mart from 17:20 mins. A lively wee piece which might become a historical item as the use of the Mart Stance changes in the future.

I was also interviewed yesterday by the BBC Radio “Out of Doors” Team, Helen Needham and Mark Stephen about my feeling about attending the Highland Show and discussing the Highland Pony Judging so listen out for that on Saturday and Sunday morning too 🙂
