The Age UK Hull & East Yorkshire Christmas Shoe Box Hamper Appeal has begun!
This year our target is to give out over 1000 Shoe Boxes...can you help?

Sponsor my Lego walk - all for a good cause......!!!

In my work as CEO of Age UK Hull and East Yorkshire we've recently moved offices and to celebrate this and spend some time with the local community and partners we're hosting an Open Day on Thursday 15th August.

But the highlight of the day will be my sponsored Lego Walk (bit like a fire walk... but far worse...) all to raise funds for our work supporting older people across Hull and East Yorkshire!!

My walk on Thursday 15th August, is part of an Open Day at our new offices on Preston Road (next to Hull HR) where we are welcoming the local community and providing health information, refreshments, tombola and face painting.

If you fancy a go on the Lego walk then you are more than welcome to join me, minimum donation of £5 for a go and to prove it isn't as hard as I will be making it look!!!!!

And this walk will very much be one of penance! I was actually away on holiday when the physical office move took place, all over seen extremely well by my amazing team. However this Lego walk was actually their suggestion - so I sense that there is some retribution being sort!! But all for a good cause........ 😉

Second Round of KCOM Foundation Digital Inclusion Grants

Now you can apply for grants from the second round, worth between £5,000 - £15,000.

How to register on behalf of yourself and your organisation:
1. Go to www.beecan.org
2. Click on 'Register/Login'
3. Click on 'Sign Up'
4. Enter your details
5. Agree to T&Cs and Privacy Policy
6. Click on 'Create a New Organisation'
7. Confirm your role in the organisation
8. Add your organisation details
9. Submit the form and click on 'Return to Beecan'

The Smile Community Development Team will review your request to join Beecan.

When applying for funding, please upload governing documents and annual accounts via the 'Manage My Organisation' section.

Go to 'Find Funding Opportunities' and click on the relevant program to apply for funding.
